Keep Track of SharePoint Permissions without a Third Party Tool
Posted: August 20, 2013 | Author: Tamara Bredemus | Filed under: Permissions, SharePoint | Tags: Permission |3 CommentsIt’s not very high tech, but it works. Create a spreadsheet with tabs for your SharePoint Groups/Sites Matrix and each permission level used on the site. You may need to expand the SharePoint Groups/Sites Matrix to include lists and libraries that are uniquely secured.
Here is an example of one I’ve used.
View and download a copy of the spreadsheet here.
thanks 🙂
Hi Tamara!
I’m working on a project for a client in creating something just like this. The template link above is no longer working. Would you mind sharing or updating the link?
Thanks!
I just updated the link. Thanks for letting me know it was out of order. If you need a copy of it that you can edit email me at tamara.bredemus@live.com and I will email you a copy.
